I reached my breaking point after nursing and rocking for almost 60 minutes, for my baby to open his eyes when his head touched the mattress. I burst into tears along with him and realized something had to change.
After working with two sleep consultants, I have been with my kiddo through Sleep School (twice!) and have not seen lasting results. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Cry-It-Out’ is fundamentally against the basis of the process I will help you navigate. You will immediately respond to your child’s cries. And while I cannot promise that your child will never cry during the program, this is how they communicate with you as their parent. I will show you how to understand what they are calling for and how to respond. This method will integrate play to build positive associations with sleep and bedtime.
1on1 support to help your child sleep through the night. This means I will work directly with you in a 1on1 remote setting and navigate you through your child’s sleep challenges.
How it works:
1) Discovery call:
We will spend 15 minutes discussing your child’s current sleep situation, determining his individual needs and behaviors, what you would like to change, and how to establish the corresponding approach.
You will fill out an initial questionnaire to help me understand your child’s current sleep habits. These questions will help me write a detailed plan tailored to your child’s needs and your family’s philosophy.
2) Plan overview
I will create and send you a customized sleep plan with step-by-step instructions to address your child’s specific struggles.
3) Action!
My goal is to set you up for success. I will provide unlimited daily support through WhatsApp messaging to answer questions, troubleshoot any setbacks, and refine your sleep plan to fit your child’s responses and temperament in real-time for one week.
We will remove externalities, establishing a common understanding of being comfortable with bedtime and sleep. We will aim to establish a healthy and sustainable sleep association, developing a sense of independence and self-regulation at bedtime and through the night.
Cementing the plan for one week will help ensure the whole family is comfortable with the new process and tweaking any final issues. Practice makes perfect.
4) Follow-up and support
At the end of our time together, we will get on a call to answer any questions you may have while you continue to implement the strategies given in your sleep plan.
